Liam Payne has revealed that it was a very difficult decision not to go and visit his son Bear for his third birthday last month.
The singer, who has a son with ex Cheryl, revealed he and the pop star decided it was for the best for him not to leave home to see his son for his big day because of the pandemic.
Liam appeared on Good Morning Britain where he talked about his life on life in lockdown, saying he received pictures and videos of his son on his birthday from Cheryl.
The 26 year old revealed “I am out here in the city, I had been exposed to so many things before his birthday and we were still finding out more information about this thing.”
“It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time, which was horrible, and missing out on it wasn’t great,” he continued.
“That’s been the hardest thing, it’s the most difficult thing for all of us. It’s quite funny – the technology that’s been pushing us further apart is pulling us together again.”
It comes after Liam took to social media to wish Bear a happy birthday last month, praising ex Cheryl for being an “amazing” mother to their son.
